Problem: Athletes are being able to get any type of drug they want way to easily.
I know doctors can prescribe some drugs to help people that have to recover from a serious injury but how are these professional athletes getting their hands on these drugs. I think it is a problem that these professional athletes have the ability to get their hands in these drugs, we need to have a solution to these athletes getting their hands on these drugs. I think there should be a back ground check on whoever is ordering these drugs. They should not be allowed to be sold over the internet or any local stores (for example GNC, Fitness Headquarters, etc.). The only way I believe you should be able to get your hands on these drugs should be through a doctor. If it was harder for professional athletes to get their hands on drugs, then there would not be so many of them using them. Professional sports are for people who are blessed and able to do certain things because they were giving the gift to do it. By cheating and allowing them to get their hands on these drugs to help them perform better it is taking away the entire name of being a “Professional Athlete”. I feel the athletes who have previously played and especially the ones who were considered one of the greatest athletes of all time are being cheated from their accomplishments because these younger new athletes are cheating the system.
